Lovebirds Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor certainly don’t believe in doing khullam khulla pyaar the way Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh announced in their film Khel Khel Mein (1975).
Why else would Ranbir Kapoor who had come to pick up Katrina late on Saturday night after a private screening of Captain Phillips return without his lady love?
The film was being screened at Light Box, a preview theatre in Santacruz west. Ranbir came to the venue with his buddy Ayan Mukerji, director of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. On finding a battery of photographers parked outside Ranbir took a U-turn and raced off from the venue but not before asking them, “Aap logon ko pata kaise chal jaata hai?’
Katrina took a long time to come out of the screening venue and sheepishly sat in her car and drove off to Pali Hill, Krishna bungalow. Now isn’t that where Ranbir Kapoor resides with his parents Rishi and Neetu? Katrina’s car left the bungalow soon after dropping her. The actress stayed put in her love nest. For how long, we can’t really say.
Ranbir has openly admitted to Katrina being a very special person in his life during promotions of his last film Besharam. Katrina, on the other hand has stayed away from having an interface with the media ever since her intimate Spanish holiday pics with Ranbir became public in a film glossy.
Katrina has Dhoom 3 releasing in December. She is expected to start promotions for it anytime soon. It will be interesting to see how Katrina evades questions on the topic she most fears.
Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, Arjun Kapoor, Vidyut Jamval and choreographer Ceasar were the others who attended the screening.
